Aloja-M Forte Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines, alogliptin and metformin. Alogliptin works by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas and decreasing the hormones responsible for raising blood sugar levels. Metformin limits the absorption of glucose from food and reduces the production of glucose by the liver. Metformin also increases the body’s response to insulin.
