Aristogyl-F Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Furazolidone, Metronidazole and Simethicone. Furazolidone is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria that cause diarrhoea by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering. Metronidazole is also an antibiotic which kills other infectious microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
