Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication that blocks an enzyme required in the body to make cholesterol. It lowers the ‘__’bad’__’ cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises the ‘__’good’__’ cholesterol (HDL). Aspirin is an antiplatelet medication. It prevents the platelets from sticking together and decreases the formation of harmful blood clots. Ramipril is a blood-pressure lowering medicine which works by relaxing blood vessels so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.
