Comvac 5 Vaccine is a 5 in 1 vaccine given to infants and young children. It provides active immunization against five severe diseases namely Diphtheria, Haemophilus influenzae type b, Hepatitis-B, Pertussis, and Tetanus. It boosts the immune system and produces protective antibodies against these diseases.

Comvac 5 Vaccine is to be administered by your child’s doctor only. It is injected into the thigh muscles of infants. In older children, the vaccine is administered into the arm muscle. It is administered in 3 doses, each 4 weeks apart, preferably before the age of 6 months. Generally, it is recommended to administer the 1st dose at 6 weeks of age, the 2nd dose at 10 weeks of age, and the 3rd dose at 14 weeks of age. If a child has not received the 1st dose by the age of his initial year, start vaccination as soon as possible and consult your child’s doctor for the schedule.

Comvac 5 Vaccine can cause some minor and temporary side effects such as fever, irritation, loss of appetite, injection site reaction (pain, swelling, redness), and skin rash. However, these episodes do not last very long and subside on their own. If worrisome, do seek the doctor’s help.

Talk to your child’s doctor before vaccination if your child has a history of liver problems, kidney problems, blood disorders, birth defects, heart problems, lung problems, severe pain or swelling of the limbs, or Guillain-Barré syndrome. Also, let your doctor know if your child has or had any severe allergic reactions to any medicine. You should also consult your doctor if your child has ever been in a coma or has had brain or nervous system problems like seizures before scheduling a vaccination appointment. This information is important for the doctor to prepare a corresponding vaccination schedule.

Fluarix Tetra 2023/2024 NH Vaccine helps protect you from influenza (flu). It works by exposing you to a small dose of the flu virus which helps your body to develop immunity against the disease. Vaccination will not treat an existing flu virus infection.

Fluarix Tetra 2023/2024 NH Vaccine is given as an injection into a muscle by a doctor or nurse. It is usually given just before the cold season when the flu virus begins to increase. Normally, only one injection is required to protect you for a year. You should have the vaccination each year because different new strains of the flu virus emerge frequently and different vaccines are developed. It is especially important to have this vaccine if you are elderly or have chronic health problems such as diabetes, heart failure, kidney failure, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It is also recommended for young children over 6 months of age.

This vaccine can cause mild side effects, but it is better to get vaccinated than to become infected with flu. The most common side effects include headache, muscle pain, weakness, tiredness, bruising, joint pain, sweating, shivering, and pain or swelling at the vaccination site. They do not normally last very long. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects persist or worry you.

Before having the injection, you should tell your doctor if you have an illness with a high temperature or if you have ever had an allergic reaction to a vaccine. Some other medicines may react with the flu vaccine so talk to your doctor about other medications you are taking as well. As with any vaccine, vaccination may not fully protect everybody, although it will reduce the symptoms of the flu if you get it. It will not prevent illness from avian flu (bird flu) or a common cold. Consult your doctor first if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Nasovac-S4 Vaccine is indicated for prevention of influenza (flu) in individuals 2 years of age and above. It works by exposing you to a small dose of the flu virus which helps your body to develop immunity against the disease. It will not treat an existing flu virus infection.

Nasovac-S4 Vaccine is usually administered just before the cold season when the flu virus begins to increase. It is administered as a single-dose intranasal spray. The vaccine should be inspected visually for any foreign particulate matter and/or variation of  physical aspects before administration. Discard the vaccine in case of any defects observed.

The most common side effects of this medicine are nasal discomfort, sneezing, runny nose, chills, and facial swelling. It may also cause fever, headache, fatigue, sore throat, cough, wheezing, and nausea. These are usually mild and resolve on their own. However, if they persist or bother you, let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing them.

Nasovac-S4 Vaccine should not be injected under any circumstances. Before receiving the vaccine, let your doctor know if you have any preexisting medical conditions or if you have ever had an allergic reaction to a vaccine. Vaccination should be postponed in people already suffering from cold, cough, fever, bodyache or other flu-like symptoms until their recovery. Ask your doctor for advice before using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
