Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is a protein that promotes the growth of new blood vessels. In certain eye diseases, abnormal blood vessels start growing under the retina, leading to fluid leakage, bleeding, and damage to the central part of the retina called the macula. This can result in severe vision loss and distortion of central vision. Pagenax Solution for Injection blocks the activity of the VEGF protein. By inhibiting VEGF, the medication reduces the growth and leakage of abnormal blood vessels in the retina.

Acular LS Ophthalmic Solution is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used after eye surgery to treat pain and inflammation. It may also be used for other conditions such as seasonal allergies. This medicine is used generally for short-term treatment only.
Acular LS Ophthalmic Solution should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water to avoid contamination. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. The dropper tip should not come in direct contact with the affected area as there are chances of infection. Wipe off extra liquid.
